try boiling them gently in a pan of water for a few minutes. This will sterilize them and get the crud off.
All the same… latex is rubber, just different people use different words – bit like spandex / lycra. Same thing !
If you're nervous about actually using paint on the walls with the rubber stamps you can always use ink on clear contact paper and stick that on the wall.
That way when you're done with that particular "look" you don't have to repaint the room, just pull down the contact paper.

put the machine on to a wash or spin mode that should empty it, It sounds like either the waste is blocked or its back filling from the waste but defiantly not rain water getting in.
You think you know, Dorte?! Ah, yes, ahem, I’m not sure about this, but there was a time at which I lost patience and stopped biting my tongue, as it were, because I thought the much-lauded latest novel (latest to that point) of said writer, who was already a bit of an irritant, very flawed indeed, but I couldn’t seem to get away from posts and bits and pieces about said writer, I suspected mainly because said writer is rarely not to be found at conferences and such. And so it was that I let off a bit of steam on your blog, Dorte, if I remember this rightly, and sort of went into, well, complete meltdown on Euro Crime, which was safe because I don’t think the lovely Karen had ever written a post about said writer, though she must have mentioned said writer in passing, for I think at that time mentioning said writer at least three times a week was compulsory. Now, if anybody would like an additional clue, here it is: I know from all these bits and pieces that said writer lives very close to a) the sea and b) my niece and her family, and my niece lives about an hour’s drive from her father, my much less handsome and clever elder brother, who lives in Rothbury, Northumberland. (I think this is more exciting than reading Stieg Larsson, not to mention said writer.)
