Wishing on Shooting Star Tattoo Designs
Young age, we are taught the significance of shooting stars. This folklore becomes ingrained in our impressionable minds, and so, we take the belief that shooting stars will grant our wishes into the harsh reality of adulthood. Thus, it is not hard to believe that there is a growing trend of and demand for shooting star tattoos.
Many ancient civilizations, including the Greek, the Roman, and the Egyptian empires, were obsessed with the universe, so it is only logical that this well-recognized element of astronomy would be translated into a viable tattoo design. The occurrence of other such phenomena in space, including comets and meteor showers, serve to validate the significance of shooting stars as tattoos.
Much like the way shooting stars appear in the sky, many tattoos of this nature include a trail of smaller stars. These extra stars may be of contrasting colors and can comprise as long of a trail as needed. These trails may also wrap completely around the arm, the leg, or the torso one or multiple times.
Many women are drawn to shooting star tattoos for this reason as well. Shooting stars and their subsequent trails can be modified or embellished to work well as either a lower back tattoo or a navel tattoo.
Shooting star tattoos afford the wearer and the artist many, many options when it comes to the aesthetic elements of the design. Shooting star tattoos can be done anywhere on the body and can be made as large or as small as they need to be. There are also no preconceived color schemes considered standard for shooting stars, so freedom of choice exists there as well.
This endless number of style and color combinations have given the shooting star tattoo the status of being a relatively inexpensive option that can be easily changed, modified, changed, or adapted to nearly anyone’s taste. It can also be added onto, or it can be a great add-on itself.
Ultimately, society’s affinity for magic and good luck will continue to drive the sale of shooting star tattoos. The belief that making a wish on a shooting star and having that wish come true is another indication that our desire for fortune and fame goes beyond just a fleeting though of fantasy.
Because of the many different meanings associated with shooting star tattoo designs, the wearer of the type of tattoo is the best source for determining its ultimate meaning and importance.

Steven Moore some Republican asshole. He’s a real idiot
Look, we know we give Colorware a hard time — mostly because it regularly spits out miscast creations like the abominable Kindle or the unlovable DSi — but in the case of the Nook we’re a lot more ambivalent. Sure, on the one hand you can concoct clashing color schemes like the one above that only someone from Portugal can truly appreciate, but if you slide past the break you’ll find tasteful color combos are possible as well. Perhaps it’s the Nook’s simple logo on the back and straight-line color separation, but this is one instance where we might actually be willing to shell out the $125 asking price for a fresh paintjob. Hit the source link to try your hand at designing a prettier Nook yourself.
[Thanks, Kent]
